Run monthly at the Rokewood Community Health Centre, the Breakfast Program provides healthy breakfast options of cereals, fruit, bacon, eggs, toast and pancakes for the 25 or so secondary school children who attend. The program is open to all local children and youth, and brings our community together. It forms a part of the Social Connectedness priority outlined in the Health Promotion Plan. The program is overseen by Hesse’s Community Nurses, Dietitian and Diabetes Educator.
